Oceana County residents & property owners will be responsible for the base rate fee and per loaded mile fee established at the Medicare level if insurance does not cover ambulance service or if they do not have insurance.
In order for hardship rate reductions to be applied to individual accounts application must be made to Oceana County Emergency Ambulance Service by calling (231) 873-8241.
Oceana County Emergency Ambulance Service bills Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS and all other third party payors on the patient's behalf.
Requests for emergency ambulance service should be made by dialing 911.
